Tehorah, which means “pure” in Hebrew, was originally written by Haan to celebrate the 50th anniversary of German-Israeli diplomatic relations at New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Austrian Emassy in Washington DC in 2015. This follow-up performance, like the original, is featuring music of 1920s Weimar-Berlin, Yiddish klezmer as well as contemporary music sung in Hebrew, it is a heart wrenching and promising musical story about war, loss, hope, love and forgiving, arranged for Haan and piano.

The concert is supported by the Center of Edelman under patronage of he mayor of the city of Łódź. Tickets for the public are free of charge.
