“Ms. Haan is an entertainer of the highest caliber!” Huffington Post
Timeless Songs from the Silver Screen is Ms. Haan’s new show, premiering at the Triad Theater, honoring composers and songwriters and the power of their music in the film industry. This musical journey will take you from the start of silent movies in France in 1890, to the birth of the “talkies” in the United States in 1927, to today’s tight collaborations between filmmakers and composers, including Irving Berlin, Charlie Chaplin, John Williams, Henri Mancini, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, James Horner, Michel Legrand, John Kander, Friedrich Hollaender, Diane Warren, Burt Bacharach, and many more.
Taking center stage is Adrienne Haan, International Chanteuse and artist in residence at the Triad Theater, who recently performed her show Tehorah at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. Hailed as “an exceptional song interpreter with a grand voice” by the Berliner Morgenpost and “an entertainer of the highest caliber” by the Huffington Post, award-winning entertainer, Adrienne Haan is one of the most electrifying concert stars at work today.
Guest artists for John Williams’ Main Theme of “Schindler’s List” include concert pianist Mira Armij Gill and Francisco Salazar, first violinist with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra.
This show will forever change the way you appreciate the intricate relationship between music and films, and the vital role of these composers as well as their impact on the audience, for generations to come.
