Adrienne Haan

German & French Embassies, Luanda, Angola

To honor the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Élysée Treaty.

Under patronage of the German and French Ambassadors in Angola.

Chanteuse Internationale Adrienne Haan is probing the ties between 1920s German Cabaret Songs and the great French Chansons. This  show was written to honor the German French Friendship, sealed with the Élysée Treaty on Januar 22, 1963.
The idea of the European Union finds its core during the “seminal catastrophe” of the 20th Century, the Great War (1914-18).  Adrienne Haan’s soirée Sans Frantières – Ohne Grenzen celebrates the strong ties between the two great nations through music and shows in her own emotional way that peace must be kept among the nations.

With songs by Kurt Weill, Franz Wachsmann, Friedrich Hollaender, Mischa Spolianksy, Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Patricia Kaas.

Richard Danley is Music Director.
